Hollie Palmer is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work questions what it is to ‘feel at home?’
Hollie creates tapestry wall hangings using rug punch technique as well as short films as a part of her current practice. Her practice explores the comfort of the indoors as well as the outdoor spaces we curate and live within. Hollie is intrigued by the everyday, experiences, mundanity and how the sublime can be applied to day to day living. How is it, things we are most familiar with can be nostalgic, and present the ‘unpresentable’ in the form of memories thoughts and feelings?
