EXHIBITION No.3

No.3

5th July - 30th August 2025

Open Mon-Sat, 10-5pm

We are thrilled to launch our summer collection at Morgans - a series of paintings and ceramics showing until the end of August.

Resident painter at Morgans, Martha Holmes, shares a 40 piece collection of paintings depicting the shapes and forms in the landscape surrounding her studio, alongside still life studies of the home. Hannah Eavis returns with a series of works on canvas, rich in mark making and colour, with nods to the coastal scenery in Cornwall. New to Morgans for Show No.3 is Jack Hilton, who currently practices in London but with strong links to Cornwall. He describes how ‘Narrative is an important driver initially for me, but then in practice it becomes more about creating something that has the mystery and ambiguity of an abstract expressionist painting whilst retaining elements of figuration and narrative drama’.

Charlotte Trounce will also join Morgans for the first time with a series of small paintings; previously studying in Falmouth, Charlotte’s illustrative eye brings moments in her day to day environment to life with colour. Mallorca based painter Jasmin Riva, who also studied in Falmouth, recently spent time in the Morgans studios and shares a series of figurative watercolours, capturing the soft rhythms, patterns and energy of her time in Cornwall. Alongside the paintings, Katie Moore delivers a collection of painted footed bowls and sculpture, featuring hand built designs new to Morgans.
