We are very excited to launch our final show of the year at Morgans this November.
For the first time we introduce Sarah Woods to Morgans - working from her studio in Newlyn, Sarah depicts the gentle balance of composition, colour and space in her landscape, with this latest series capturing the elemental space along the Helford. Martha Holmes shares a vibrant still life series of autumnal tulips alongside Clara Holmes whose small works in oil explore interior spaces at home. Abstract paintings rich in colour and form by Laura Menzies sit alongside new paintings of the Helford in autumn by Maxine Hart. Playful captures of compositions in the home by Sophie Harding join soft, calm still life scenes by Philip Lyons. A collection of small studies by Eleanor Crow capture compositions of jugs, bowls of fruits and objects, with a serene quality to them. Returning to the gallery is a new collection by Eska Marsh whose drypoint and carborundum prints study everyday objects in the home, emphasising their rich forms and silhouettes.
Besides the collection of paintings, we introduce Ayse Habibe Kucuk to the gallery, whose organic hand built forms explore the raw beauty of the textured surface. New tableware in soft whites by Wendy Wilbraham sit on the tables alongside new sculptural forms by Daniel Miles.
